Dickinson, TX

Dickinson Texas (77539) is located just south of League City and east of Bacliff. It resides on a tract of land granted to John Dickinson in 1824 with the first settlement on Dickinson Bayou in 1850. It attributes its early growth to its proximity to Texas City (oil refining) and to Johnson Space Center. Today, Dickinson has about 20,000 residents.
